Apparently it's aib was asking for my address and birthday I asked how to know it's aib she said to check online lol I just did seems dodgy (robocall / recorded message)

Getting a call every week. Answered mistakenly twice, each time it was an agent from AIB Bank. Asking for confirmation of birth date and address. As soon as I asked how cam I confirm it is AIB agent. The accent has changed I got told to check online. (robocall / recorded message)

Dublin accent man sounded very professional they’ve called me about 10 times I checked here before answering so knew it was a scam but honestly it would have thrown me otherwise, I said what was the issue he said I need to go through data protection and get my details before telling me and got a bit nervous and told me to call back at a time that suits me. Asshole 🤣 (live person)

The caller wanted to me to confirm my full name. I asked who this was she said she can't give out that information untill I confirm who I was. I hung up the phone and rang then number back. I got a recording supposedly from AIB and to enter my account number straight away. Hung up blocked and reported the number. (live person)

I received a blank call on Wednesday 27/11/24. I blocked the number, On the 29/11/24 I received two calls, both leaving me voice mails one from some chap with a Dublin accent saying he wants to speak to [My Full Name], the second from some Indian woman who couldn't pronounce my name. I called the number back, an automated message claiming to be AIB financial services and requesting my bank account number to be typed in. I hung up and blocked the number again, definitely scam call. (robocall / recorded message)

Knew my full name and said they were from AIB. Requested my address and DOB, when I wouldn't give them they said to call AIB or go into a branch and they'd be able to speak to me about my account, sounded professional. I then called AIB and he said there was no trace of a call made to me or a reason to call. Definitely a scam (live person)

This number has contacted me multiple times impersonating AIB and following up the missed calls with a text message. “The group Can you please return the call on 017714485 Thank”. Blocked immediately. (robocall / recorded message)

Left voicemails saying it was Megan from AIB and to call back on 01 7714485. I went into aib and it wasn't them. My phone automatically detected the number as spam. When I initially called it back it asked for me account number so I hung up. (robocall / recorded message)
