A person with an Indian voice called me today and introduced himself as an employee of Visa and Mastercard Security Department of Australia. He said my Mastercard was used by someone to buy gift cards at values of $400 and $13,000.00 respectively. He further advised me to download Teamviewer Quicksupport App so I could use the ID number to stop further transactions. I did download and installed the mentioned app but having read the reviews as a Scam Alert and saw the ratings, I uninstalled the Teamviewer Quicksupport Application. I don't and won't know if there was any hacking to my phone by my actions. (live person)
